The original property is a two storey end of terrace house believed to have been constructed in the nineteenth century for railway workers. The current owners were looking for the house to meet the needs of their young family. The design incorporated a modest first floor extension and a large ground floor extension which retained the style of the original design to the external but created a large open plan space within to cater for modern family living.
